*side note: everything was originally painted primer white...white white white.
This is the kitchen, the most complete room in the house. We still need to get a pot and pan holder, curtains (there are two large windows in the room - if you were to turn to your left) and maybe a few other touches. There is lots of extra room not shown in this pictures where the windows are...we could always put a little breakfast table there or something...we'll see.
This is the living room/dining area (in the back). We painted it a light tan so that no matter what colors we chose it would all go well. We'll eventually get new furniture and the mint green pillows (which match the mint green couch that is covered with the dark brown couch cover) will be going away! Nathan thinks maybe a pretty turquoise would be nice with the chocolate.
This is the other side of the living room. As you can see we still have "kitty" items laying around. We still need curtains, and like the above picture, the mint green blanket and pillows on the futon will be going away. We're also hoping to get something to put on the far wall... maybe Nathan's recliner will come sooner rather than later.
This is our bedroom. Lots to do still in here. The color is blue (called Sterling Silver) and everything in here will be black, white, & blue. The curtains are old curtains from our apartment but we needed to put something up so that we didn't flash our neighbors (I'm thinking white with black ties.) I'm also making a black head board for the bed, and our black and white pictures will once again go up on the wall over the headboard. I love this room and can't wait until its finished.
This is the office/ guest room. (Sorry its so dark) We didn't paint this room because its going to have some different things in it. On the 4th of July Nathan and I cleaned out this room and put together the huge desk. When we can, we'll bring up our other bed from Morgantown and it will also go in here. The color scheme is red and white... but we also have our WVU stuff in here too... its a hodge podge of things.
This is the much anticipated nursery. Its far from finished -originally the green was going to be beadboard, but to cut down our costs we just painted. We need to get a chair rail up, seperating the two colors, and of course lots of furniture. (we will be removing the tv, and stool...hehe) This room is the one that most people were interested in, and its a work in progress, although we'll need to get it finished pretty soon!
I hope you enjoyed the pictures. As we get things completed I'll put up more pictures, especially of the nursery.
