Halloween has come and gone. I was "reminded" yesterday and today that I hadn't put any pictures up. So here you go.
Maybe you remember Ava's costume from last year, Jewel from Rio. She sure has a knack for picking costumes that you can't find in a store. This year, she decided she wanted to be a Moon Dragon from Dragonvale. Dragonvale is a game that she found on our phones and she loves it. On Sundays when I sing and she is at church for two services she enjoys hanging out with her friend Everett and playing the game and comparing notes and dragons. Needless to say, this wasn't a costume I could just go out and buy. So instead I set out to make it according to Ava's standards. She was thrilled with the end result, and had absolutely not problem telling everyone exactly what she was dressed as... especially since everyone asked.
By the way, this is a moon dragon:
a costume for grocery shopping? No, our grocery store does a costume parade the Saturday before Halloween and the kids get treats. Ava enjoyed it, and pointed out every single Elsa costume we saw... about a gazillion!
I forgot to take a picture of our carved pumpkins this year, but did get this one of Hannah. She thought the little pumpkin belonged to her. And to be fair, in theory, it did.
Our second generation Lamb
Sisters
"Mom, she won't stop playing with my ears!"
Hannah's costume was a little big.
she fell over, and couldn't get up.
As we were checking the candy, Hannah got so excited and yelled "Woah!" when we dumped the bowl.
We sprayed Ava's hair for her Halloween party... just a little extra fun.
After Trick or Treating with my girls.
