Sarah-

I'm sad for your family's loss and the loss of one of America's "Greatest Generation."

It's such a blessing to know that you had this time with him; that he could see you get married and know you are expecting a child.

Knowing how my grandfather felt about me, even though he passed when I was only four years old, I know that you were a special part of his life.

I'm certain he treasured the time he got to spend with you and that you lit up his life the moment he saw you.
