A little of this, a little of that...

As usual, we have a picture overload for you.  We made our annual 4th of July trip to the lake, and despite the chilly weather, it is still our favorite place.  Ava really enjoyed having a new "big girl" life jacket this year, and she swam around like the little fish she is.  Hannah on the other hand preferred to stay on the dock and eat snacks with Shae.  Shae was fine with that, and sat protectively by her side the whole time.

Nap time!

(as always) Finally relaxing!

This summer we also made a trip to the beach.  Unfortunately, it rained a good bit and we didn't get to the beach.  I take that back, Nathan and Ava got to the beach a couple of times. And I did get to go, but it was cold and rainy.   So instead, we went to NASA which was a neat experience for us all.

From our balcony... next year I WILL be on a beach.

The tube was clear and Ava refused to come out, but she had no problem with the slide!

(see those sunnies?  They didn't make the return trip...  R.I.P. my favorite Rx Sunnies!)

Before our zoo membership ran out we made a last trip to the zoo.  The membership was well worth it, but now that Ava is entering elementary school, we probably won't be going as much.

Miss Hannah has been growing too quickly!  This summer she went from 9 to11months in a flash. Slow down baby girl...  you're my last baby.

my "creative" 9 month picture...  that I forgot to take at 9 months.   So I put it on her back during her 10 month pictures since 9 months were "behind" her.

Hannah also got a Lambie just like her sister after she kept trying to take Ava's lambie.  Welcome to the family Pinky Winky.

After the plans for Ava's birthday party kept falling through, I promised Ava a trip to Living Treasures.  She had wanted her party there, but trying to find a weekend available, a time available, etc. was impossible.  So we made other plans for a one last family get-away to celebrate her birthday...  stay tuned for that post.  But today, we went to Living Treasures with our friends Carrianne and Gabby; (we missed you Bella!).
